LibAnswers: JSL Reference

Alumni have privileges to receive library cards and check out circulating materials from the library.  Alumni may also utilize non-circulating reference, Alabama-specific, and special collection materials within the library. They also have access to the reference services provided by the library’s team of highly qualified reference law librarians.  Alumni may request a library card at the circulation desk. 

For 18 months post-graduation, Jones School of Law students graduating in December 2021 or May 2022 will continue to have full access to the Westlaw research platform and the accompanying electronic practice tools, such as Practical Law, Drafting Assistant, Document & Form Builder, and others.  Graduates may also have access to the Lexis Advance research platform for six months post-graduation, once the appropriate documentation is submitted to Lexis.
